Asoboo

I still have never been able to get into using community sites — yes, I’m on Mixi, but I don’t really use it, and only go to my account page when someone sends me a personal message — but for those who do like them, I was recently told about Asoboo, which is a Japan-based one that seems to offer all content in both English and Japanese.

Update: I wasn’t aware of this — due to my lack of knowledge/interest in these sorts of sites — but Asoboo is actually quite a few years old, and had a reputation as a bit of a sleazy pick-up spot. Looks like they’re trying to get rid of that image though, but I can’t vouch for the type of interaction you’ll find within.
