Last year I talked about THE BOOK OF PALLALINK, featuring symmetrical photography/design by architect Kazuhiko Kawahara, and this past weekend I finally got my hands on a copy. As expected, it’s a stunning piece of work, and I can’t stop leafing through it. I don’t know if there are any copies left (it was limited to 50), but you can still browse the images from the book on Kawahara’s site.

I bought about 4-5 myself. It is STUNNING and I really think Kawahara is just exploring some awesome areas with his work.
What I love is how he can make a mundane, even dirty image of Kansai into something worth staring at for a long time. How he manages to see and create the art from the original photographs is stunning.
What I want are a few wall-sized images…
