Now we’re inside the “secret garden”, and this is one of the reasons I enjoyed the area so much: the green! It was really nice to almost forget that we were in the middle of Seoul and just be able to enjoy the nature around us, along with the beautiful architecture of course.

And now we take a look at some more traditional aspects of Korean culture. This picture was taken at the Changdeok Palace. While not the biggest palace in Seoul (that would be Gyeongbok), my guidebook said it was the better preserved one, and it features a huge garden in back often called the “secret garden”…
