Ah, already looking forward to going back. I’d also like to note that I did the trek wearing Adidas hiking shoes I bought when I was in high school (I’m 30 now), as well as the backpack that I used as a school bag at the time. Me thinks it’s time for some new equipment.

As I posted yesterday throughout the day on Tokyo Boy, I finally made it out to Mount Fuji, and as you can see, it was an absolutely stunning day.

To give you a better idea of the scale of the Kurobe dam. It was massive.

Before getting to the final station, where our bus taking us back to Tokyo was waiting, we crossed the Kurobe Dam. It was quite impressive, and the next few days will be more pictures of it.

Part of our mountain trekking package was that after the hiking we had tickets to visit other sections of the mountain range, and had to get to the different areas by trolley bus, rope way, and cable car. Here we see the cable car that took us down, way down.
