Muji Tote Bags
Continuing with the special events and items planned for the upcoming major re-launch of the Ikebukuro Seibu branch of Muji — set for September 18 — the latest is that Muji has invited 34 artists and designers to create imagery for a series of tote bags. Each bag will sell for 100 yen.

Un/Built Store
From Assistant and Cyril “bovine mutilator” Duval (Item Idem), the Un/Built Store, a store concept entirely made up of shoe boxes — the store naturally disappears as shoes are sold. The project was featured in issue #926 of Domus.

TokyoMade Market
TokyoMade is having a market at Mememachinegallery in Shibuya starting today, and running until July 12 (12:00-21:00 daily), with lots of the store’s stock on sale for 30-60% off. Japanese artist TiFdyL will do a live painting performance at the space on Friday (July 10). More details here.
