I’ve been moblogging for a few weeks now, and I’m finding that it’s affecting my picture taking with my regular digital camera. I have to say that it’s the reportage aspect of taking pictures that has mostly interested me, more than any artistic desire on my part. With my new keitai, it’s just that much more easier to snap things, and then I can do something that I couldn’t do before, which is instantly post on this site from the field. Instant gratification. I’ve stopped taking my digital camera with me all the time, and I have to force myself to take pics now (like I did last week during my outing in Aoyama). Now it’s a question of finding the proper balance between the two. There are things that a tiny picture taken by a keitai can’t properly express. The experiment continues…
