This was originally posted to the PauseTalk website.
PauseTalk Vol. 92 took place on Thursday, October 10 at Bananafish New HQ, and we had another great mix of participants which made for a fun couple of hours of discussion, from the ups and downs of working on projects for western brands in China, to the art scene in Shanghai (and China in general), with other fun diversions in between – in fact, it was probably the funnest time I’ve had at a PauseTalk in Shanghai, with lots of laughs throughout (although yes, I’m sure the wine helped with that).
Below, the list of participants:
- Bill Glennie (Ex-Computers for Architects)
- Eliza Flow (Designer)
- George Lobo (Visual Designer)
- Gianmaria Quarta (Interior Design/Yoga)
- Ilya Ukkonen (UI & Graphic Design)
- Jean Snow (Game Developer)
- Jess Jia (Marketing Manager)
- Kuan Tong (Generalist)
- Paul Copeland (Creative Director)
- Sequin Ou (Art Management)
- Yegor Ruzov (Physics Teacher)
What’s next? Vol. 93 should happen sometime in December, likely again at Bananafish New HQ. I’ll share details here once the date is confirmed – and for more updates, you can join our group on WeChat (ask me to be added).
