She’s Gotta Have It

I feel like I’ve lost touch with what Spike Lee has been producing in recent years — even though I used to be a big fan of his work — but I was definitely going to give his new Netflix series a shot (a remake of his first film). I’ve watched the first two episodes, and I already love it so damn much. From the opening theme song and credits montage, to just delicious dialogue and funny interactions between the cast, this is just a joy to watch. I’m really into it, and I’m very much looking forward to watching the rest of the season.
