This is one of those movies that I remembered very fondly from the era, but hadn’t watched since then, and so was a bit worried at how it might have aged. I can happily say that I very much enjoyed revisiting this — oh yeah, it’s 80s as hell, but in a lovable way, and the scenes still feel iconic (as far as I remembered), the Coreys are still just as goofy, and the soundtrack is still absolutely perfect (like the use of The Doors’ “People Are Strange” at the beginning). It also makes for perfect October/Halloween viewing.
