Stranger Things

Oh god I loved this show, excessively so. We watched it the weekend it came out, and are already feeling sad that there’s no more to watch – and that if they do make a season 2, that it’ll take at least a year to happen. I’m a child of the 80s, and this is just such a spot-on take and homage to the films of that era – and it looks like pretty much all of my friends of my age enjoyed it just as much as me. It’s pretty fun to start seeing shows (I would include Halt and Catch Fire in this) that are bringing back nostalgic 80s feels like this, going beyond the one-note “neon” parodies we tend to see, and treating the era with love.
