Seems like the Taschen store at Omotesando Hills is only going to be temporary (until May).
When hearing “Hills” in Tokyo, the first thing you think of is certainly Roppongi Hills. But now you have to shift your focus to Omotesando, as a new complex called “Omotesando Hills” opens right where the beautiful Dojunkai Apartments once stood. Designed by Tadao Ando, it is going to become the new hot spot in Tokyo, and the first shop that opens its doors there is Taschen Japan. It you’re an art afficionado and looking for any publication on art, you can be sure to find it at Taschen. The shop will be open daily from 11:00 to 21:00, but only until the end of May, so if you happen to be somewhere near Omotesando in the next couple months, make sure to drop by at the shop. But why on earth don’t they open a permanent shop??? (REALTOKYO)
As for that last remark, I’m thinking the same thing.
