On Design for January

Just a reminder that my latest ON DESIGN column will be in tomorrow’s (Tuesday) edition of THE JAPAN TIMES. This month, I go through a few things, including some new FOMA phones (and if you’re wondering why I didn’t cover Naoto Fukasawa’s new NEON, that’s because it was only announced following my editorial deadline), ROOSHOPPER tote bags, Signeo’s SN-A800 audio player, a nifty cooking device (the COMPACT IH), and yes, a toilet paper stand (but it’s a damn nice one).
