Lunch at Stair

Last week I finally had a chance to check out the Masamichi Katayama-designed Stair in Aoyama. I was having lunch there (in the great company of Nicole and Charlie) and, well, I’ll just say that daylight isn’t so kind to the space. I can see it really having a cool/stylish atmosphere at night (like in the pics seen at the Wonderwall site), but at lunchtime, the furniture didn’t come off looking that great, and marks on the wall became apparent. But, the food was fine, and I’m certainly pencilling the place in for one of my next nighttime outings.
