Like beer? Like architecture? Then I’ve got the event for you:
Part three of the Cafe Night Talk series at Asahi Art Square, the new hot spot on the left bank of Sumida River, is dedicated to architecture. In addition, beer is playing a central role in all of the events. Opening the first installment of the new “Beer & Architecture” series is an “architecture movie night” showing video works by such energetic young architets as Aoki Jun or Atelier Bow-Wow, as well as an original movie made out of photographer Abe Taichi’s architecture photos. The screenings are accompanied by detailed introductions from Flick Studio editor Iso Tatsuo, and rare architecture-related books can be purchased at the venue too. Enjoy an originally artistic and culinary evening with beer in hand and architecture in mind. (REALTOKYO)
It takes place on the fourth floor of the Asahi Super Dry Hall, near the Asakusa station, May 20 (19:30) and 21 (16:30). Entry is 1000 yen, including a drink.
