To my great surprise, I saw Superidol Makoto in Shibuya yesterday afternoon, in the area between Shibuya and Yoyogi park (alongside the NHK building) where young bands go to perform on Sundays. I first saw Makoto on a TV show I watch regularly called ZENIGATA KINTARO, that features poor people and how they make a living on tiny sums of money. Superidol Makoto (as he refers to himself) has been featured a few times on the show. I was talking about him on the train ride to Shibuya, but never thought I’d one day see him. The picture above was taken after his “performance,” when he poses for people’s pictures. I have a few pics of him rolling around, so I might do a collage for tomorrow.
