Innocence

Damn. I was all excited about seeing the new Ghost in the Shell film, INNOCENCE, this week as it was supposed to play at the Roppongi Hills Virgin Cinemas with English subtitles, and while checking the site for times I found the following:

We discontinue the show of “INNOCENCE” with English subtitle for imperfect subtitle. We are very sorry, but we ask you to understand.

Here’s hoping they get a better set of subs for the coming weeks. There’s been a huge push for the movie, and I’ve seen quite a few specials on TV. One of them focused on the director, Oshii Mamoru, and his love for his dog, who is featured in the film.
