Mashcomix

While at Tower Records in Shibuya yesterday, I picked up this great looking comic called MASHCOMIX. It’s a big volume, printed in three colors on thick brown paper, that features contributions by a whole bunch of Japanese creators I’ve never heard of. The best thing is that the thing is bilingual. This would definitely be filed under “underground comics” (think Secret Comics Japan). They also have a beautiful flash-based site up, with a few small samples of the different stories. I think you can order the book online from their site.
