Design Week

It’s a busy week for design in Tokyo, what with the Tokyo Designers Block, Tokyo Designer’s Week, and Swedish Style all taking place (and starting today). Today’s DAILY YOMIURI has an article on an interesting container exhibit taking place in Odaiba as part of the TDW, and the latest METROPOLIS features a cover story on all three events, with spotlights on 6 designers, as well as highlights of all the events. It couldn’t be happening at a worse time for me as I’m slowly getting better from a week of sickness, and next Monday is both Yuko’s birthday as well as our wedding anniversary, which will definitely not give me any time to check out most of these events. Oh well.
