Ramen Wars, a Continuing Story

The ramen wars in Ikebukuro continue. This week saw the opening of the new Taishouken shop on Wednesday, and I still haven’t had a chance to go because the lines are absolutely insane. Yesterday, as I’m walking back home, I pass in front of Komen, my favorite shop, and see that they’ve closed down for a few days for some renovations. I’m anxious to see what the new design of the shop is going to be, and a little bit sad because I really enjoyed the old look (old wooden counter). I’m due for a bowl of ramen, but since watching DEAD OR ALIVE 2, I now have a craving for Kitsune Udon (and I want to eat it like Sho Aikawa does in the movie).
