The City

This is the view I had from our room at the Poong Jun Hotel, which was very central. You’re seeing the southern part of Seoul. The first thing that struck me was how it felt more like China than Japan (I was expecting the opposite). You always hear about the modern technological jumps going on in South Korea, like with the incredible high Internet use and such, but the city itself felt very old and dirty, except for the main shopping areas.
