On the train, riding the Yamanote line. The Yamanote line is one of the most popular lines in Tokyo (if not THE most popular) as it forms a loop around the city. One of the cheapest ways to visit Tokyo is to buy the cheapest ticket and then heading in the opposite direction. The whole loop takes about an hour.
I’ve just gotten off at Nippori, and am now switching to the Joban line. Today I work in Chiba.
I’m surrounded by salarymen who are probably heading back to work after their lunch break. It’s nice to see them still sober…
