This episode of the Codex is all about gaming, and so (almost) every track played is from a game, and not just any game, but what I would say is a terrific collection of indie games. As I promised in the show, here then are links for both the games and their soundtracks. So first off, if you’d like to play some of these games, go to the following sites: Fotonica, The Binding of Isaac, Super Meat Boy, Blocks That Matter, VVVVVV, Sword & Sworcery EP, and PixelJunk Eden. If you’re more interested in the music, here are links to the various albums that were featured on the show: Fotonica, Danny Baranowsky’s The Binding of Isaac and Super Meat Boy, Morusque’s Blocks That Matter, SoulEye’s VVVVVV, Jim Guthrie’s Children of the Clone and Sword & Sworcery LP, and Baiyon’s PixelJunk Eden.
You can download the episode below, and find the playlist, or subscribe to the RSS feed so as not to miss any future episode — the show is in the iTunes Store too. You can also follow the Codex on Twitter and on Facebook.
