Order of Canada

I’ve just gotten the news that my dad, Gerard Snow, is to become a member of the Order of Canada — Canada’s highest civilian honour — for his contributions to the development of Common Law in French. He receives the award this fall in Ottawa, from the Governor General. It’s a shame I won’t be able to attend, but I’m still pretty damn proud of him!
