Arto Lindsay is touring Japan!
The cliche of the artist who “destroys the preestablished harmony” is probably the most boring thing a writer can come up with these days, but in the case of Arto Lindsay one doesn’t have to care about how to avoid falling back on the same old formula again, as his own “harmony” is so perfectly beautiful that it makes writing on him child’s play. Released last May, his new album “Salt” sounds just like him (first and foremost his somewhat unsure voice), but at the same time has something outstandingly edgy in elements like rhythm tracks and sound image. This is at least Arto as I love him, and again he does me the favour to come acoss with new material and show up right when I began to feel the strong desire to listen to his music again. What else can I say than “a must-see!” (REALTOKYO)
The Tokyo show is November 21 at Unit in Ebisu, with a start time of 7:00 pm.
