A new month means a new exhibition at the Ginza Graphic Gallery, and it’s time for the annual ADC show.
July is here, and with it comes the annual ADC exhibition from the Ginza Graphic Gallery, this year entitled ‘2004 ADC Exhibition.’ This year saw approximately 9,300 entries produced between May 2003 and April 2004, and all were given careful consideration by the 89 ADC members. Works included posters, newspaper and magazine advertisements, editorial designs, general publication graphics, corporate identity logos and symbols, and TV commercials. The gallery will be presenting the award-winning works and other outstanding entries ahead of publication in December of the ADC Annual. Works by ADC members will be shown at ggg, and those in the general category (non-members’ works) will be shown at G8. Since the founding of the ADC (Tokyo Art Directors Club) in 1952, its activities continue to generate interest within the Japanese advertising and design world, where the ADC award attracts attention as one of the most prestigious offered each year.
