Things are hopping at REALTOKYO it seems. They also mention the product design exhibit of Alexander Rodchenko at the Watari Museum of Contemporary Art (until April 18). Here’s the blurb:
The designs of the prominent Russian avant garde artist Alexander Rodchenko reborn through the hands of Japanese craftsmen. This exhibition features reading tables and chairs, teapots, work coveralls, and so on from the “Rodchenko Room Project” that were the talk of Paris in their day. In addition to the design works, highlights of the event include a film documenting the repeated trial-and-error-ridden creation processes, as well as Russian tea served every Saturday in Rodchenko-designed cups!
