Since I knew I’d be away for most of the month (on a trip to my hometown) I figured I wouldn’t be doing the annual horror marathon I’ve been doing in October for the past few years (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023), and so didn’t start the regular thread I do on X — one thing I did plan on doing instead though was the “Thirty Day Horror Challenge,” which I did do, and you can view the thread here. But in the end, I found myself in fact watching quite a bit of horror content throughout the month, so I think it’s worth rounding up in a post, like I usually do. Here then is that list, with links to my mini reviews on Letterboxd for the movies — for the TV shows, I unfortunately gave up on both Grotesquerie and Uzumaki (because of lost of interest), and I’m still making my way through Hysteria.
