Spider-Man: Homecoming

I gotta say, I wasn’t that into this movie. I came in with pretty high expectations, as the buzz around it was all positive, including what I’d heard from friends who had seen it. And it started out pretty fun, I liked the opening and the jokey vibe it was going for. But then it got bogged down with the school-related stuff, which I just couldn’t connect with, and overall I found the story to be pretty boring. There were some decent action sequences here and there — and I mostly liked the way they portrayed the Vulture — but it just didn’t excite me much. I think the kid playing Spider-Man is good, but this is just not the kind of super-hero movie I’m interesting in watching.
