The Jewel of the Nile

My 1985 movie watching marathon continued with The Jewel of the Nile. Yup, Romancing the Stone (released in 1984) was definitely the better film, but sticking to my guns, I watched this inferior sequel. It’s got its moments, but overall it wasn’t that fun to watch, and the story is even less interesting than I remembered (and to be honest, I didn’t remember it at all). I’m not upset that I watched it, but I’m sure I would have had more fun watching Romancing the Stone.
