PauseTalk is a regular series of events that take place at Cafe Pause on the first Monday of every month, with a start time of 20:00. The idea is to create a forum where Tokyo-based creatives can get together and discuss their own projects, as well as cultural currents of the city. Someone should call up with a correction though, the author says that the Roppongi “triptch of galleries doesn’t get a mention”, but AST has a quite nice interview with the Director of Mori Art Museum.
True. Although I think he’s just trying to make the point that they don’t get major coverage, and that the focus is really on those smaller spaces.
Chris: That interview may be with Nanjo-san but the piece only mentions Mori Museum in passing — the interview is meant to shine a light on public art. It just so happens than Nanjo-san knows that topic very well!
