Akane Hosaka

I’m sure most of you know about Patrick Benny‘s excellent Tokyo Recohan, an online shop which until now has specialized in used Japanese CDs, which Patrick picks up on his frequent record store runs. Now, he’s decided to support a young Tokyo indie electronic artist, Akane Hosaka, and is selling a pack of 3 CD-R albums by her. Patrick describes her music as a mix of “Moog, Stylophone, and what sounds like an endless toy box, to make delightful melodies that must be heard by those who like MINEKAWA Takako and Perrey & Kingsley.” Check here for more info on Hosaka, as well as ordering details.
