There’s some photoshopping but the final product is as close to the original scene as possible. There’s a large undeveloped area on the other side of the Fuji building from where this photo was taken (thanks Alin for the camera!).

I haven’t been to that area in a while, but I don’t believe it’s Photoshopped (outside of maybe for lighting, etc.)

That is either Photoshopped or an old photo from a fortunate angle, surely? Unless I’m mistaken (which is highly probable), the building is not so isolated (this is Odaiba, after all). And from that angle, wouldn’t you you paddling in Tokyo Bay? I’ve never seen that area looking so barren.

So Nick, let me get this straight, you would like to cover the entire building with flowers? I agree that some green can add a lot to certain types of structures, but a metallic or concrete building with flowers?
