Uroko-House

Paul Baron is moving this fall into a new apartment. Why should you care? To get a bit of privacy inside the open studio space, he enlisted the help of architects Point, who then came up with the Uroko-House (uroko means fish scale). The structure, which comes of looking like some sort of igloo, will take the place of the bedroom, and the “scales” you see, made of cardboard-backed felt, can be moved around. Thank you Paul and Point for the photos (more after the jump) — Paul originally presented the project at the this month’s PauseTalk — which were taken at the “Recyle Space” show at Prismic Gallery in Aoyama (the show runs until September 2).
