Deskset

My current workspace at home. I usually do most of my writing at Cafe Pause though. I took the picture for Matt Fraction’s Deskset Flickr group.

  1. Do you spend a lot of time sitting there? It doesn’t look very comfortable or ergonomic (then again, neither do most workspaces around here…)

  2. Like I said, I do most of my writing at the cafe. But I do spend a lot time sitting there, yeah, although I also often just use the laptop in the other room, on my lap, sitting on a chair.

  3. I like this set of photos a lot. A few years back I started taking pictures of the clutter “behind” the workspaces - wires and the like. It’s very cool to see people’s workspace!

  4. Yeah. Even though, being a freelancer, I don’t get to work in an office, I have a strange obsession for office spaces, and work spaces in general. I love to see the environment that people create/work in.
