Photo Shoot at Cafe Pause

TRAVEL+LEISURE magazine is doing a profile piece on me, and this past week they sent a photographer to shoot me at Cafe Pause for the article. The photographer they chose was Takashi Yasumura, whose photobook, DOMESTIC SCANDALS, I had the great pleasure to leaf through between setups — the online images don’t do justice to the attractive color style used. The book is published by a small Tokyo-based publisher called Osiris run by Yoko Sawada, who also acts as an agent — she was on hand during the shoot — and was editor of a photography magazine in the nineties. I can’t wait to see how the shots turned out!
