If you visit MUJI’s store in Yurakucho these days, you’ll be greeted by the follow-up to their “Ki no Ie” pre-fab home, the new “Mado no Ie” (window house). You can’t really see it in the image shown here, but the configuration they have at the store has larger windows, including a staircase in back that is all-window. Personally, I think I prefer the previous design, but it’s still something that I could see myself living in (either that, or a house designed by my friend Keiji).
