PechaKucha + The New Mix

This Wednesday (October 18), SuperDeluxe will be hosting a special PechaKucha Night event to help launch a new book from KDa — that they produced and edited — JAPAN: THE NEW MIX, featuring 21 architects and interior designers currently working in Japan. Presenters will include Masaaki Takahashi (author), Koichi Suzuno + Shinya Kamuro (Torafu architects), Hiroshi Yoneya (Tonerico Inc), Takaharu Tezuka (Tezuka Architects), Manabu Naya + Arata Naya (Naya Architects), Yukio Hashimoto (Hashimoto Yukio Design Studio Co Ltd), Noriyuki Otsuka, and Klein Dytham architecture. Doors will open at 19:00, with the regular entry fee of 1000 yen (includes 1 drink).

Let me also add that I’ll be presenting, along with Jesper Larsson and PMKFA, at the special PechaKucha Night on October 30 that will focus on British designers in town for Tokyo Design Week. Yeah, none of us are Brits, so I guess we’re crashing the party!
