14 Days

I’ve made no secret that I’m a huge James Bond fan, and in anticipation of the upcoming CASINO ROYALE — the first James Bond film in ages that has me really excited — I’ve recently started watching the entire series again (I have the complete collection in both VHS and DVD — and how nice to be able to watch them on my new TV). Unfortunate shock from yesterday: as I was running a few errands in Ikebukuro last night, I spotted a small poster for the film at the theater where it will be playing (coincidently, the same theater that showed DIE ANOTHER DAY), and it lists the release as December 1! Nooooo… I must wait an extra 14 days to see it! (In the rest of the world, the film comes out November 17.) Foiled again by the forces of SPECTRE…
