This is a follow-up for people that were at PauseTalk early on, when Bianca Beuttel was talking about one of her classmates’ interactive project, “Light Tracer.” New Zealander Karl D.D. Willis has created an installation that “invites the participant to write, draw and trace images in real physical space using a series of light sources. These light sources are subsequently tracked by a camera, and displayed over the participant’s own image onscreen.” It looks quite cool (see videos on the site), and I’d really love to get him to present it at Cafe Pause sometime.
