I'll be sure to link to it if it ends up on YouTube. Also, I'll try catching it on TV tonight.

Yeah, glad to see you guys are working on stuff like this (and getting to air it on a major network like NHK). I'd actually love to go visit your offices one of these days, see what you guys are up to.

Yeah, it would be good for them, but all I can say is at least they are sponsoring this kind of expression and putting it on TV, where it is going to reach all sorts of folks (probably even old people who have no idea what a podcast is, and in 110 different countries to boot) who will hopefully get their minds blown a little bit.

I just wonder how fucked up it is gonna look in the context of the rest of the (possibly highly J-pop) content in the show that will be surrounding it.

And yea, YouTube it is!!!

I understand the political implications (I guess NHK is just not ready -- could have been good for them though, a first step in the world of podcasting), but it's still a shame, because the format (5 minutes) is just perfect for a video podcast. But you know, wouldn't it be nice if they just somehow showed up on YouTube...

DVD sounds like a nice idea.

Hi Jean, I am creating this program, and you're right, Id rather see it as a podcast as well!! We proposed this to NHK (along with doing an audio podcast as well), but there are a host of legal issues and etc. that prevent them from doing it. I was just wondering if I should just up and simply podcast the edisodes on my own :). Probably not such a smart idea tho...

There is a good chance we will release the entire thing as a 40 min. DVD once all 8 episodes have been produced however.
