Old Model, New Battery

I’m wondering if anyone could help me. With the advent of YouTube, which means an easy way to share video with no bandwidth concerns, I’m thinking about what I could do with that, which brings me to my digital video camera. Bought in 1999 or 2000, the rechargeable battery completely died a while back, and I’m trying to figure out if there’s any way I could get a new one for such an old model (in my case, it’s the JVC GR-DVM50 — it was bought here in Tokyo, at Laox in Akihabara, but it’s an American model).

Update: I’ve now ordered a battery, and should be video-ready soon enough.
