iTunes Music Store in Japan

There was some news that came out pretty much at the same time as the big Intel/Apple announcement from Monday, saying that the iTunes Music Store would finally launch in Japan in August, with the tracks selling for 150 yen. Gizmodo is now suggesting that the Nikkei article may have jumped the gun, but I think we can still expect a launch within a few months.
