Hiragino Kaku Gothic

Seems like font tees are popular around here, so why not get some Hiragino Kaku Gothic action going, from 70six. I don’t agree with their “Japan’s Helvetica” tag, but still, I like the idea of it. Link via Kelly Sue.

Update: I stand corrected. As Paul points out, “as the most used sans-serif in Japan, it could certainly qualify as Japan’s Helvetica.” My feeling was that it doesn’t seem to appear in Japanese graphic design as much as Helvetica does in Western design.
