Ramen enters the internet age.
Yahoo Japan Corp said Thursday it will start selling across the country later this month “ramen” noodle soup it has developed on the basis of the results of a popularity contest conducted via the Internet.
The product, dubbed “Samurai Ramen,” features soup made from scorched “miso” fermented soy bean paste and pork bones, and a main topping of barbecued pork, Japan’s largest Internet portal operator said. (Kyodo News)
I don’t think I’ll try it, as miso is one of my least favorite flavors (I prefer shouyu and tonkotsu).
